The People behind Pure Paani
Chris is a two-time Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) after having served as a high school Physics teacher in Guinea Conakry and again in Cameroon. He completed his MS degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities after earning his BS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Davis. After cofounding Pure Paani in 2016, he is working as the company's CEO in Bangalore, India. His favorite food is blueberries.
After spending almost a year in Bangalore assessing the effectiveness of the Pure Paani filter, Kaylea is returning to work for the company as its COO. She has completed her Master's International degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and is excited to continue her career in Bangalore.
Sushant is a past designer with the Tata Research Development and Design Center who is working with Pure Paani to assure the effectiveness of the filter.
Dan is a plumber, farmer and technician living in the sub-divisional capital of Ndu in Northwest Cameroon. He is working to adapt Pure Paani technology into a stationary, foot powered system.
